A Day at the Beach

Rhode Island!  Rhode Island is the biggest little state in the country.  Because so much of it is surrounded by water it actually gets significantly smaller at high-tide!   For being such a tiny state it has a very funny name. For one thing, it's real name is "Rhode Island and Providence Plantations".  For another, it's not an island!  But there is tons of water and that's where we started our trip with Flat Emmet (our 2D form of our beloved nephew and cousin).

In addition to rocking the surf-board, we skateboarded as well along the Seekonk River where you can sometimes see Crew teams rowing boats up and down the river.
